We build pads from water jet cut marine grade aluminum, nylon belting, with custom closed cell foam cushions and finished with a stainless steel buckle. Unlike leather pads, these will not soak up with salt water or rot and the dive belt buckles make for unlimited adjustment as opposed to hole punched leather belting. Our pads have a pressed in dimple in the pole saddle to accommodate the pole butt and require no break in period unlike leather pads. Both the belting and cushions are replaceable. Maintenance consists of fresh water rinse at the end of each trip and at the end of your season. We recommend hanging your pad by the belt when not in use to extend the life of the closed cell foam cushion.
